Since its inception in March 2001, the Rediscovering Youth
Sportsmanship program has reached more than 15,000 parents,
coaches, officials, athletic directors and youth athletes
through presentations to thousands of different youth sports
organizations and schools.
Some youth sports organizations which we have reached since
inception include: Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association, Delaware
Valley Hockey Association, Iron Hills Conference, Jaguars
Ice Hockey Club, Lacey Township Soccer Association, Lakewood
School District, Maplewood School System Middle and High
School, Missouri Amateur Ice Hockey – Youth Division,
Montclair Ice Hockey Club, Mountain Valley Athletic Conference,
New Jersey Rockets Ice Hockey Club, Rockaway Township Police
Athletic League, Roselle Park Soccer Coaches Association,
Toms River Ice Hockey Association, USA Hockey-Atlantic District,
USA Hockey-Pacific District, USA Hockey Congress-Annual Meeting,
Wayne Police Athletic League, and Wykoff Soccer Association.
In 2002, over 100 presentations were made to youth sports
organizations including two to the New Jersey State Interscholastic
Athletic Association (NJSIAA), a comprehensive overview to
hundreds of parents involved in the Iron Bound Little League
and the program was embraced this year by the New Jersey
Youth Hockey League, representing teams throughout the state
of New Jersey, as well as several programs offered for parents
at the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center.
